This Privacy Policy explains how TextMuse AI ("we," "our," or "us")
collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile
application (the "Service"). By using TextMuse, you agree to the
collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
To provide and improve our Service, we collect the following types of

Conversation Context: When you use the "Conversation
Feedback" feature, we process the text extracted from the screenshots
you provide to our AI to generate analysis.
We do not store the screenshot images on our servers.

Profile Builder Data: When you use the "Profile
Builder" feature, we process the answers you provide (such as your
passions, humor style, and goals) to generate your profile content.

Coach Conversations: We process the questions you ask
the "AI Skills Coach" to provide you with expert advice.
1.2. Information We Collect Automatically:

Usage Data: We collect anonymous metrics about how
you interact with the app, such as the features you use and the
timestamps of your sessions. This helps us understand what's working
and improve the app.

Anonymous Identifiers: We use standard mobile
identifiers (like those generated by Firebase) to manage your
anonymous account and enforce free tier limits.
1.3. Information from Third Parties:

Subscription Status: When you subscribe to TextMuse
Pro, all payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play
Store. We receive transaction confirmation and subscription status
from them, but
we do not collect, see, or store your credit card or other payment
information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of the
Service.

To power our AI features and generate personalized content for you.
- To manage your Pro subscription and enforce free usage limits.
- To diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes.
- To respond to your feedback and support requests.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We only share data
with the following essential third-party services:

AI Service Providers (e.g., OpenAI): We send the text
content you provide to our AI providers to generate the responses.
This data is not used to train their models.

Backend Services (e.g., Firebase): We use Firebase
for anonymous authentication, database services (to save your
Favourites and History), and analytics.

Payment Processors (Apple/Google): For securely
processing your Pro subscription.
4. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your data. We use industry-standard
administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your
information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no
method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot
guarantee its absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your generated content (Favourites and History) for as long as
your account is active to provide you with the Service. If you delete
your account, this data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding
your personal data:
- The right to access the data we hold about you.
- The right to request that we correct any inaccurate data.
- The right to request that we delete your data.
7. Deleting Your Data
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any
time. To permanently delete your data, please send an email request to
textmuse.app@gmail.com. We will process your request
within 30 days.
(Note: We are working on a simple, in-app "Delete Account" button to
make this process even easier in a future update.)
10. Refund Policy
Subscriptions for TextMuse AI are digital and non-refundable. Once activated, your subscription cannot be refunded or transferred.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Access to Pro features will continue until the end of the current billing period.
